I knew her eye was worth crossing the NY border! Ashley provided me with the PERFECT amount of outfit direction (both leading up to and during the shoot), day of adjustments and pose direction (which I was so anxious about), while providing me with enough connection that the day flew by and I came home to more great pictures (and variety!) than I could have imagined. She helped me see myself in a whole new way! I really would encourage anyone who wants on point professional photos to work with Ashley!

Working with Ashley was an absolute joy. From the very beginning when I reached out to her, she took time to work closely with me through creating a mood board, chatting on the phone and ensuring she knew my vision. One of the things that also immediately stood out to me was her timely manner in responding to my emails. She captures the ‘in-between’ moments so effortlessly which emulates through the photos. I was beyond happy with the outcome.

She just gets it. Ashley understands light; she understands women and our bodies: we don't want to look posed, but we still want to look gorgeous. She gives the best direction I've ever experienced from a photographer. It is simple, and she uses language that never feels corrective.

Relax and follow her instructions, and you'll end up with amazing imagery. I also feel like it's worth noting that the way she has captured me over the years feels timeless and cohesive. I can use photos from past shoots for what I promote now, and it still feels current.

Being in front of a camera can be an awkward and difficult place to be, and Ashley will just naturally put you at ease to bring out the best possible shot almost immediately into the session. She gave clear direction and offered so many creative ideas, but still stayed within a space that I was looking for as a client.
