Wardrobe and styling are planned together, so everything feels cohesive and considered.
Location is selected based on light, mood, and vision.
Your session can include immediate family/siblings. It's up to you.
During the session, I guide you on how to hold, where to look, and how to move so your baby feels supported and you feel at ease. You don't have to think. Just show up, and I'll guide you from there.
The result is imagery that feels effortless, natural, and deeply intimate.

Every artistic detail of your session is considered beforehand so that during a photoshoot we can follow baby’s lead. I'm attuned to your baby's rhythm, guiding you around different poses based on their mood.
I direct you gently so the moment itself stays pure, and connected.
You don't have to worry about what to do with your bodies. My job is to artfully frame what's already there so you can feel it forever.

The first two months pass quickly. Impossibly quickly.
These photographs become the tangible memory of those earliest days. They’re meant to adorn the walls of your home, and be the centrepiece on your coffee table. Revisited as a forever reminder that your child will return to again and again.

This is truly personal. I believe every stage of baby is adorable, but for the “newborn” look I recommend anytime before 2 months. The first two weeks is when they’ll be most small and dozy. The 3 month mark we have a plumper baby, and another monumental time to do a baby shoot! Newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and 12 month all have different skillsets and physical attributes. All are perfect times to photograph your baby.
I have limited availability on weekends so it’s best to reach out in advance to see when I’m available for the season. -
We embrace your baby however they are. Hungry? We feed. Sleepy? We cuddle. Awake and happy, sleepy, fussy or crying, I’m attuned to your baby and can help mediate what works best for them. If you have a baby with a more sensitive temperament or you don’t like the idea of being put on the spot for 20 minutes I recommend booking the 1hr over a mini session as the 1hr gives rest and feed time.

Absolutely! You can include whomever you want in your shoot, or behind the scenes as a support person.

My standard session is 1hr, but I also offer 20 minute mini sessions when I can accommodate.

Hi, I’m Ashley.
The privilege of capturing motherhood is one I do not take lightly. I am devoted to honouring your journey, to truly reflecting the power and beauty I witness. I've photographed over a thousand mothers, and I feel it every time.
I always wanted to photograph mothers differently. There were so many images out there that just didn’t reflect the way I saw women. I wanted to sense their unique essence, to capture their power and beauty in a way that felt symbolic, timeless, artistic, editorial, and real. It wasn’t until after I became a mother that I truly understood just how meaningful and sacred capturing these images would be.
I know what it's like to want to feel guided, seen, and genuinely at ease in front of a camera. That's what I build every session around. Sometimes the work calls for a fully realized production, other times, I strip it back entirely. No matter the artistic direction, I value poetic and publication-worthy results.
